Eightfold Noble Path–Right Mindfulness

Topics Include: 1) The Eightfold Noble Path: how right understanding brings a sense of morality and ethics into our lives and the role of meditation in the process. 2) Mindfulness as the primary factor in the Seven Factors of Enlightenment. 3) The quality of presence of mind, a certain kind of awareness described as bare attention. Not being blinded by our conditioned ways of interpreting our experience. The example of flow in our daily lives. 4) The simplicity of opening up to the simple richness of our everyday multidimensional field of experience. 5) How we create an illusion of our experience through our conditioning and believe that to be reality. 6) How to sit with the discomfort of not knowing and our strategies for avoiding negative emotions. 7) The error of identifying with our experience. We are not our thoughts. 8) How to wake up from being lost in thought. 9) The Dharma as an alternative paradigm to the Darwinian struggle for survival that defines our lives.
